Hello, I'm a professional wellness consultant in Canada with an honours diploma in health, fitness and nutrition. I've achieved national certification in personal training, fitness instruction, active aging, and lifestyle coaching because my goal is to help improve your journey toward better health! I'm in my fifties too! Let's get going and make energy yours!

EXERCISE FOR THE ACTIVELY AGING

There are many ways to begin or to get back to improving your health through regular exercise. Whether your focus is on improved heart health, building muscle or stretching for relaxation, there are many exercises available to choose that are easy to do as well as effective. The following three facets of fitness serve to produce the most balanced optimal fitness results. 

CARDIO FITNESS

Cardio fitness is about improving heart health and strength. Improvement can deliver oxygen-rich blood and nutrients to the rest of the body.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Weight lifting, resistance training and using your own body weight produce substantial strength gains. Added muscle can significantly improve our health.

FLEXIBILITY TRAINING

Flexibility training is vital as we mature and age. Actively engaging our muscles to increase the range of motion at our joints helps avoid atrophy and injury from lack of use.
